Being prepared for more serious, unexpected situations is an important part of working with chainsaws, whether you’re a tree surgeon, arborist or occasional chainsaw user. This single person trauma first aid kit brings together all items in our starter kit, but with trauma and haemostatic dressings too for an emergency situation. These are designed for wounds with more significant blood loss, to stem blood flow quickly and easily. The kit comes in a green, water resistant First Aid bag (20cm x 13cm x 8cm) which can be attached to your belt using the straps on the back.

• 1 Large Trauma Dressing (15cm x 18cm). A highly absorbent large dressing pad on an elasticated bandage with easy to fix velcro type fastening, allowing high levels of pressure to be applied directly to the wound.
• 1 Haemostatic Dressing (10cm x 10cm). Pack this directly into the wound where it reacts and forms a clear viscous gel to temporarily stop the bleeding. It can be removed easily as it doesn't adhere to the wound so won't cause any further trauma.
• 1 Large Sterile HSE Dressing (18cm x 18cm)
• 2 Single Use Tourniquets (2.3cm x 37.5cm) (can be attached together for a longer length)
• 1 Finger Dressing (3.5cm x 3.5cm)
• 1 Triangular Bandage
