16" M91VXL DuraCut Chain 3/8" x .050" (1.3mm) with 57 Drive Links

(Drive links are the parts of the chain that sit in the bar groove - please count them carefully.)

This M91VXL057 chain fits on many, but not all, chainsaw models that have a 16" guide bar - please ask if you are unsure whether it will fit your chainsaw. Also note that a bar's length is just its approximate cutting capacity, it is not measured from end to end.

  • Durable, Longer Lasting Chain for Cutting in Dirtier, Tougher Conditions
  • Semi Chisel Cutters with Aggressive Cutting Edge
  • 33% Longer Cutter Top Plates than a Standard Type 91 Chain
  • Blued Cutters for Protection Against Corrosion
  • LubriTec Oiling System for Smoothness and Longer Life
  • Needs a 5/32" File for Sharpening (not included)

The Oregon DuraCut M91VXL chainsaw chain (previously called MultiCut) is a heavy duty chain designed for longer lasting use and in tougher conditions including railway sleepers and burnt or dirty wood. An advanced plating process puts extra layers of chrome on the cutters which have an aggressive cutting edge and are also longer than standard Type 91 chains.

This chain has a more forgiving sharpening angle for easier maintenance with standard files - sharpening with a diamond disc isn't needed for these chains, unlike tungsten tipped ones. The chain also benefits from Oregon's LubriTec oiling system to keep it running smoothly and help ensure a longer lifespan.

This M91VXL057 chain is equivalent to the M91VXL057E, M91VXL057G & M91VXL057X as letters at the end of the code are no longer used.
