The Oregon DuraCut M73LPX chainsaw chain (previously called MultiCut) is a heavy duty chain designed for longer lasting use and in tougher conditions including railway sleepers and burnt or dirty wood. An advanced plating process puts extra layers of chrome on the cutters making it last up to 3 times longer than standard Type 73 chains. They have an aggressive cutting edge and a more forgiving sharpening angle for easier maintenance with standard files. The chain also benefits from Oregon's LubriTec oiling system to keep it running smoothly and help ensure a longer lifespan.

The M73LPX chain is stronger and tougher than standard Type 73 chains and can be sharpened in the normal way with standard round files unlike tungsten tipped chains. It is perfect for those dirtier conditions and when you want a chain to last longer.
